देवस्तुतिं समाकर्ण्य शिवस्सर्वेश्वरस्स्वराट् । सुप्रसन्नो बभूवाथ विजहास दयापरः
devastutiṃ samākarṇya śivassarveśvarassvarāṭ | suprasanno babhūvātha vijahāsa dayāparaḥ
神々の捧げた讃歌を聞いて、万有の主にして自在の王たるシヴァは、ことのほか満悦された。ついで慈悲を本性とする御方は、喜びに微笑まれた。

The verse emphasizes Saguna Śiva’s accessible, compassionate presence: through praise, prayer, and devotion offered to Śiva (often through Liṅga worship), the Lord becomes pleased and bestows auspicious grace.
Regular stuti and mantra-japa—especially the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—performed with humility (and traditionally with bhasma/Tripuṇḍra and Rudrākṣa) is implied as the devotional means that draws Śiva’s prasāda.
