Tattva Level: pashu
It highlights the Shaiva ethic of humility: even the highest devas, including Viṣṇu, repeatedly bow after offering stuti, showing that spiritual authority in Shiva’s sphere is grounded in devotion (bhakti) and reverent surrender rather than mere status.
The act of stuti and repeated pranāma mirrors core Saguna-Shiva worship—approaching the Lord (and Shiva’s manifested powers, such as Skanda) through praise, prostration, and service, just as devotees honor the Shiva-Linga with upacāras expressing devotion and submission.
A practical takeaway is repeated namaskāra with stotra-pāṭha—reciting Shiva/Skanda hymns, offering pranāma multiple times, and cultivating inner reverence; this aligns well with Mahāśivarātri-style bhakti practices (japa, stuti, and disciplined humility).
