सना ता त इन्द्र भोजनानि रातहव्याय दाशुषे सुदासे । वृष्णे ते हरी वृषणा युनज्मि व्यन्तु ब्रह्माणि पुरुशाक वाजम् ॥

sanā́ tā́ ta indra bhójanāni rātáhavyāya dāśúṣe sudā́se | vṛ́ṣṇe te hárī vṛ́ṣaṇā yunajmi vyántu bráhmāṇi puruśā́ka vā́jam ||

いにしえより、インドラよ、その享受(恵み)は汝のもの、受け入れられた供物(rāta-havya)を捧げるスダース(Sudās)に与えられる。雄々しき汝のために、我は汝の二頭の力強き黄褐の駿馬を繋ぐ。多くの業を成す者よ、ブラフマン(聖なる讃歌・呪句)が広がり、われらに力の充溢たる勝利(vāja)を獲得せしめよ。
