आ कृष्णेन रजसा वर्तमानो निवेशयन्नमृतं मर्त्यं च । हिरण्ययेन सविता रथेना देवो याति भुवनानि पश्यन् ॥
Transliteration
ā́ kṛṣṇéna rájasā vártamāno nivéśayann amṛ́taṁ mártyaṁ ca | hiraṇyáyena savitā́ ráthenā devó yā́ti bhúvanāni páśyan ||
Translation
黒き塵の中をめぐりつつ、サヴィトリ（Savitṛ）は来たりて、不死なるものと死すべきものとをそれぞれの座に据える。黄金の車に乗り、神は諸世界を見渡しつつ進む。
