याति देवः प्रवता यात्युद्वता याति शुभ्राभ्यां यजतो हरिभ्याम् । आ देवो याति सविता परावतोऽप विश्वा दुरिता बाधमानः ॥
Transliteration
yā́ti deváḥ právatā yā́ty udvátā yā́ti śubhrā́bhyāṁ yajató háribhyām | ā́ devó yā́ti savitā́ parāváto'pa víśvā duritā́ bā́dhamānaḥ ||
Translation
神は下りの道を行き、また上りの道を行く。清らかに輝く二頭の黄褐の馬——供犠にふさわしきもの——に駆られて。サヴィトリは彼方の遠みより来たり、あらゆる災いと罪過を払い退ける。
