परा चिच्छीर्षा ववृजुस्त इन्द्रायज्वानो यज्वभिः स्पर्धमानाः । प्र यद्दिवो हरिवः स्थातरुग्र निरव्रताँ अधमो रोदस्योः ॥
Transliteration
párā cic chīrṣā́ vavṛjus tá indrā́yajvāno yájvabhiḥ spárdhamānāḥ | prá yád divó harivaḥ sthā́tar ugrá nír avratā́m adhamó ródasyoḥ ||
Translation
インドラよ、汝は彼らの首さえも遠くへ投げ捨てた――未灌頂の者どもが、灌頂された祭主たちと祭儀をもって争ったその時に。褐毛の駿馬を駆る猛き者よ、汝が天より立ち現れるや、誓戒なき無法の者を突き落とし――二つの界のあいだで最も低き所へ沈め――ṛta（宇宙の正序・真理の道）を通らせた。
