tatra kanyātrayaṃ prāptuṃ viṣṇunā prabhaviṣṇunā | vāruṇī tvasurairnītā viṣṇudevājñayā sati || 6 ||
そこで、全能の主ヴィシュヌが三人の乙女を得るために、ヴァールニーはアスラたちに連れ去られた。しかもそれは、ヴィシュヌ神の御命令の許しのもとに起こったのである。
Narada (narrating to the Sanatkumara brothers, within the Uttara-Bhaga tirtha-mahatmya discourse)
Vrata: none
Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"adbhuta","secondary_rasa":"shanta","emotional_journey":"Moves from the marvel of divine arrangement to a settled sense of providence: even the asuras’ taking of Vāruṇī occurs under Viṣṇu’s sanction."}
It highlights that even seemingly adverse events in Purāṇic history unfold under Īśvara-saṅkalpa (the Lord’s will), emphasizing trust in Viṣṇu’s higher purpose behind the narrative.
By showing Viṣṇu as prabhaviṣṇu (supremely capable) who directs outcomes, it encourages bhaktas to rely on the Lord’s guidance rather than judging events only by immediate appearances.
No direct Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa, Jyotiṣa, or Kalpa ritual detail) is taught here; the verse functions mainly as narrative theology about divine permission and cosmic order.
