Bhāgīratha’s Bringing of the Gaṅgā
देवा ऊचुः । नताःस्म विष्णुं जगदेकनाथं स्मरत्समस्तार्तिहरं परेशम् । स्वभावशुद्धं परिपूर्णभावं वदन्ति यज्ज्ञानतनुं च तज्ज्ञाः ॥ ५४ ॥
devā ūcuḥ | natāḥsma viṣṇuṃ jagadekanāthaṃ smaratsamastārtiharaṃ pareśam | svabhāvaśuddhaṃ paripūrṇabhāvaṃ vadanti yajjñānatanuṃ ca tajjñāḥ || 54 ||
神々は言った。「われらは宇宙の唯一の主、ヴィシュヌに礼拝する。想念すれば一切の苦患を除く至上主に。御性は清浄にして存在は円満、賢者は彼を“知そのものの身”と称える。」
