मनाक्चिंतितमात्रं तु चेल्लभंते न तापसाः । क्रुधा तदैव जीयंते हारिण्या तपसां श्रियः
manākciṃtitamātraṃ tu cellabhaṃte na tāpasāḥ | krudhā tadaiva jīyaṃte hāriṇyā tapasāṃ śriyaḥ
Bila para tapasvin tidak memperoleh bahkan sesuatu yang baru sekadar terlintas dalam pikiran, maka oleh amarah, kemilau kemuliaan yang lahir dari tapa seketika merosot dan lenyap.
