Sukta 36

न पि॑शा॒चैः सं श॑क्नोमि॒ न स्ते॒नैर्न व॑न॒र्गुभिः॑ । पि॒शा॒चास्तस्मा॑न्नश्यन्ति॒ यम॒हं ग्राम॑मावि॒शे

Sanskrit recitationAtharva Veda 4.36.7

ná piśācáiḥ sáṁ śaknomi ná stenáir ná vanargúbhiḥ | piśācā́s tásmān naśyanti yám aháṁ grā́mam āviśé ||

I hold no fellowship with Piśācas, nor with thieves, nor with forest-robbers. Therefore the Piśācas vanish away from that village which I enter.

Aku tidak bersekutu dengan Piśāca, tidak dengan pencuri, tidak pula dengan perampok hutan. Karena itu Piśāca lenyap dari desa yang kumasuki.
