The Hierarchy of the Trimūrti and the Manifestation of the Goddess Trikalā
tato brahmā hṛdā dadhyau yogābhyāsena suvrate | cintayan bubudhe devas tāṁ kanyāṁ śvetaparvate | tapaścarantīṁ sumahat tapasā dagdhakilbiṣām ||
Narrator (default dialogue-frame context: Varāha to Pṛthivī)
It links yogic discipline with epistemic access (knowledge at a distance), reflecting how Purāṇic texts integrate contemplative technologies into narrative causality.
Śvetaparvata is identified as the locus of tapas; its precise modern identification is not fixed across scholarship and often functions as a sacralized narrative geography.
The verse emphasizes purification through sustained practice: moral and psychological ‘impurities’ (kilbiṣa) are portrayed as removable through disciplined effort.
