यदा न ववृधे तस्य ब्रह्मणो मानसि प्रजा । तदा दध्यौ किमेतन्मे न तथा वर्ध्धते प्रजा ॥
yadā na vavṛdhe tasya brahmaṇo mānasī prajā | tadā dadhyau kim etan me na tathā varddhate prajā ||
ब्रह्मा ने अपने मन से पैदा किए हुए लोगों को देखा। वो बढ़ नहीं रहे थे। ब्रह्मा ने सोचा, यह क्या हो रहा है? मेरे लोग ऐसे क्यों नहीं बढ़ रहे जैसे चाहिए?
