स्नापनाभ्यञ्जनं कार्यं प्रेतसन्तोषदायकम्॥ गृहीत्वा भूमिभागं च स्थण्डिलं तत्र कारयेत्॥
snāpanābhyañjanaṃ kāryaṃ pretasantoṣadāyakam || gṛhītvā bhūmibhāgaṃ ca sthaṇḍilaṃ tatra kārayet ||
मरने के बाद जो आदमी चला गया है, उसके लिए नहाना और तेल लगाना करना चाहिए। इससे वो खुश होता है। ज़मीन का एक हिस्सा साफ करके लो। वहाँ एक छोटा स्थान बनाओ जहाँ पूजा का काम चले।
