कथयिष्यामि ते ह्येवं श्राद्धोत्पत्तिविनिश्चयम् ॥ आदौ स्वर्गस्य चोत्पत्तिं देवानां च वरानने ॥
kathayiṣyāmi te hy evaṁ śrāddhotpatti-viniścayam || ādau svargasya cotpattiṁ devānāṁ ca varānane ||
मैं तुम्हे श्राद्ध की शुरुवात का पूरा हिसाब बताता हूँ। पहले मैं बताता हूँ कि स्वर्ग कैसे बना और देवी-देवता कैसे आए।
