निष्प्रभेऽस्मिन्निरालोके सर्वतस्तमसावृते ॥ स्रष्टुं वै बुद्धिरुत्पन्ना त्रैलोक्यं सचराचरम् ॥
niṣprabhe 'smin nirāloke sarvatas tamasāvṛte || sraṣṭuṁ vai buddhir utpannā trailokyaṁ sacarācaram ||

Varāha
It preserves a widely attested Purāṇic cosmogonic motif—darkness preceding creation—while articulating a comprehensive cosmos (trailokya) including animate and inanimate existence.
No terrestrial location; ‘trailokya’ denotes a cosmological schema.
Implicitly, order and intelligibility are portrayed as emerging from obscurity, supporting the idea that knowledge and structure are foundational values.
