निवापकर्म ह्यशुचि पुत्रार्थे विनियोजितम् ॥ अहो स्नेहप्रभावेण मया चाकृतबुद्धिना ॥
nivāpakarma hy aśuci putrārthe viniyojitam || aho snehaprabhāveṇa mayā cākṛtabuddhinā ||
यह निवाप का काम साफ नहीं है, लेकिन बेटे के लिए किया जाता है। अरे, प्यार में इंसान गलत फैसला ले लेता है। मैंने भी ऐसा ही किया, मुझे समझ नहीं आया।
