Varāha (default dialogue frame)
It exemplifies the Purāṇic tīrtha-māhātmya genre, where sacred places are catalogued with concise statements of religious ‘fruit’ (phala) tied to seeing (darśana) or visiting specific sites.
Cakratīrtha is named; the verse preserves an ancient toponym for a pilgrimage-water/ford site, though a single fragment does not securely fix a modern identification without corroborating manuscript or regional tīrtha lists.
The passage foregrounds proper offering and disciplined giving/consumption practices (samarpita-dravya, pātra), linking ethical ritual order with the cultural practice of pilgrimage.
