तत्र त्वौर्वो महाभागे तप्यते समदर्शनः ॥ पद्मानां कारणादौर्वो गङ्गाद्वारमुपागतः
tatra tv aurvo mahābhāge tapyate samadarśanaḥ || padmānāṁ kāraṇād aurvo gaṅgādvāram upāgataḥ
वहाँ एक रिशि थे जिनका नाम और्व था। उनकी नज़र सबपे बराबर थी, किसी को ज़्यादा कोई कम नहीं। वो वहाँ तपस्या कर रहे थे। पद्मों के लिए वो गंगा के द्वार तक आए थे।
