Yagyavalkya Upanishad: Verse 31
यत्र सुप्ता जना नित्यं प्रबुद्धस्तत्र संयमी ।
प्रबुद्धा यत्र ते विद्वान् सुषुप्तिं याति योगिराट् ॥३१॥
यत्र । सुप्ताः । जनाः । नित्यम् । प्रबुद्धः । तत्र । संयमी ।
प्रबुद्धाः । यत्र । ते । विद्वान् । सुषुप्तिम् । याति । योगि-राट् ॥३१॥
yatra suptā janā nityaṃ prabuddhas tatra saṃyamī | prabuddhā yatra te vidvān suṣuptiṃ yāti yogirāṭ ||31||
जहाँ लोग सोते रहते हैं, वहाँ जो अपने को कंट्रोल में रखता है वो जागता है। और जहाँ लोग जागते हैं, वहाँ बड़ा योगी गहरी नींद में चला जाता है।
Where people are always asleep, there the self-controlled one is awake; where those (people) are awake, there the wise sovereign of yogins enters deep sleep.
