Then the svādhiṣṭhāna-cakra is said to be at the generative organ, where the body is filled with wind (vāyu) through a thread-like (channel) like a jewel-string. The wheel at the navel-region is called Maṇipūraka. In the great wheel with twelve spokes, one is governed by merit and demerit. The individual soul wanders thus so long as it does not find the Reality. Above the generative organ and below the navel is a bulb (kanda) shaped like a bird’s egg. There the nāḍīs arise—seventy-two thousand. Among those thousands of nāḍīs, seventy-two are specifically spoken of.

Saṃsāra under puṇya-pāpa (karma) until tattva-jñāna; prāṇa-nāḍī system as yogic support toward MokṣaMahavakya: Indirect: emphasizes that liberation comes from ‘tattva’ discovery (Self/Reality), which in Vedānta is crystallized by mahāvākyas such as ‘tat tvam asi’; the passage supplies yogic anatomy as auxiliary means.AtharvaChandas: Prose / mixed anuṣṭubh-like yoga-upaniṣad style (not strictly Vedic meter)
