अर्धमात्रात्मकं कृत्वा कोशीभूतं तु पङ्कजम् । कर्षयेन्नलमात्रेण भ्रुवोर्मध्ये लयं नयेत् ॥३९॥

IAST Transliteration

ardhamātrātmakaṃ kṛtvā kośībhūtaṃ tu paṅkajam | karṣayen nalamātreṇa bhruvor madhye layaṃ nayet ||39||

Translation

कमल को आधा मात्रा जैसा छोटा कर दो। फिर उसे खोली जैसा बना दो। सिर्फ डांडे के मात्रा से उसे खींचो। और भ्रों के बीच में उसे ले जाके मिला दो।

Academic Translation

Having made the lotus (paṅkaja) of the nature of a half-mātrā, and having it become like a sheath (kośībhūta), one should draw it by only the measure of a stalk; one should lead (the mind) to dissolution in the space between the eyebrows.
