Akshi Upanishad 10: Verse 10
तदासौ प्रथमामेकां प्राप्तो भवति भूमिकाम् । एवं विचारवान् यः स्यात् संसारोत्तरणं प्रति ॥ स भूमिकावान् इत्युक्तः शेषस् त्वार्य इति स्मृतः । विचारनाम्नीम् इतराम् आगतो योगभूमिकाम् ॥ श्रुतिस्मृतिसदाचारधारणाध्यानकर्मणः । मुख्यया व्याख्ययाख्यातान् श्रयति श्रेष्ठपण्डितान् ॥
तदा । असौ । प्रथमाम् । एकाम् । प्राप्तः । भवति । भूमिकाम् । एवम् । विचारवान् । यः । स्यात् । संसार-उत्तरणम् । प्रति ॥ सः । भूमिकावान् । इति । उक्तः । शेषः । तु । आर्यः । इति । स्मृतः । विचार-नाम्नीम् । इतराम् । आगतः । योग-भूमिकाम् ॥ श्रुति-स्मृति-सदाचार । धारण-ध्यान-कर्मणः । मुख्यया । व्याख्यया । आख्यातान् । श्रयति । श्रेष्ठ-पण्डितान् ॥
tadāsau prathamām ekāṃ prāpto bhavati bhūmikām | evaṃ vicāravān yaḥ syāt saṃsārottaraṇaṃ prati || sa bhūmikāvān ity uktaḥ śeṣas tv ārya iti smṛtaḥ | vicāranāmnīm itarām āgato yogabhūmikām || śrutismṛtisadācāradhāraṇādhyānakarmaṇaḥ | mukhyayā vyākhyayākhyātān śrayati śreṣṭhapaṇḍitān ||
फिर वोह पहला लेवल पा लेता है। जो इंसान इस दुनिया के चक्कर से निकलने के बारे में सोचने लगता है, उसे कहते हैं कि उसने लेवल पकड़ा है। बाकी लोगों को बस अच्छा इंसान कहते हैं। फिर वोह दूसरा लेवल पहुँचता है जिसका नाम है सोचना। यह लेवल उसे बड़े पंडित के पास ले जाता है। वोह पंडित शास्त्र, अच्छी बातें, ध्यान और सही काम सब समझाते हैं।
Then he attains the first single stage (bhūmikā). Thus, whoever becomes endowed with inquiry (vicāra) toward crossing beyond saṃsāra is called ‘one possessed of a stage’; the rest are remembered as merely ‘noble’ (ārya). Having reached the other yogic stage named ‘Inquiry’, he resorts to the best learned scholars who are renowned for the principal exposition of śruti, smṛti, good conduct, concentration (dhāraṇā), meditation (dhyāna), and disciplined action.
