प्रति॑ स्मरेथां तु॒जय॑द्भि॒रेवै॑र्ह॒तं द्रु॒हो र॒क्षसो॑ भङ्गु॒राव॑तः । इन्द्रा॑सोमा दु॒ष्कृते॒ मा सु॒गं भू॒द् यो मा॑ क॒दा चि॑दभि॒दास॑ति द्रु॒हुः
práti smarethāṃ tujā́yadbhiḥ eváiḥ hatáṃ druhó rákṣaso bhaṅgurā́vataḥ | índrā́sómā duṣkṛté mā́ sugáṃ bhū́d yó mā́ kadā́ cíd abhídāsati druhúḥ ||
In requital, remember ye with these impelling smiters: smite down the treacherous one, the Rākṣasas, the shatterers. O Indra-Soma, for the evil-doer let there be no easy course—whoever at any time assaileth me, the false betrayer.
इंद्र और सोम, जो लोग धोखा देते हैं और तोड़ने वाले हैं, उनको तुम अपने हाथों से मारो। जो भी मुझ पर कभी भी बुरा चाला करे, उसका कोई अच्छा रास्ता नहीं होना चाहिए। उसको सज़ा मिलनी चाहिए।
