Sukta 3
इ॒ह प्र ब्रू॑हि यत॒मः सो अ॑ग्ने यातु॒धानो॒ य इ॒दं कृ॒णोति॑ । तमा र॑भस्व स॒मिधा॑ यविष्ठ नृ॒चक्ष॑स॒श्चक्षु॑षे रन्धयैनम्
ihá prá brū́hi yatamáḥ só agne yātudhā́nō yá idáṃ kṛṇóti | tám ā́ rabhásva samídhā yavíṣṭha nṛcákṣasaś cákṣuṣe randhayainam ||
Here, speak forth and tell us which of them, O Agni, is the Yātudhāna who worketh this. Seize thou that one with the kindling-stick, O youngest; O man-discerning, subject him to thine eye, and bring him under.
अग्निजी, यहाँ बताओ कि इनमें से कौन बढ़ा कर रहा है, वो यातुधान जो यह सब करता है। उसको पकड़ो, तुम जो सबसे छोटे हो, अपनी लकड़ी से उसे मार के कंट्रोल करो। तुम इंसान को पहचानने वाले हो, उसको अपनी नज़र में रखना।
