Sukta 9
प्र॒ति॒घ्ना॒नाश्रु॑मु॒खी कृ॑धुक॒र्णी च॑ क्रोशतु । वि॒के॒शी पुरु॑षे ह॒ते र॑दि॒ते अ॑र्बुदे॒ तव॑
pratighnānā́śru-mukhī́ kṛ́dhu-karṇī́ ca krośatu | vi-kéśī púruṣe haté radité arbude táva
Let the smiting woman, tear-faced, and the harsh-eared one cry aloud; let the dishevelled-haired (wife) wail when the man is slain—this lamentation, O Arbudi, is of thy making.
अर्बुदी, तुमने एक ऐसा हाल बनाया है जहाँ औरत रो रही है, बाल बिखरे हैं। जब मर्द मर जाता है, तब यह रोना होता है। यह तुम्हारा काम है।
