Sukta 4.2
यस्त इध्मं जभरत्सिष्विदानो मूर्धानं वा ततपते त्वाया । भुवस्तस्य स्वतवाँ: पायुरग्ने विश्वस्मात्सीमघायत उरुष्य ॥
yás ta idhmáṃ jábharat siṣvidānó mūrdhā́naṃ vā tatápate tvāyā́ | bhúvas tásya svátavāṃ pāyúr agne víśvasmāt sīm aghāyátá uruṣya ||
Jo tumhare liye lakdi laata hai aur use jalata hai, ya jo apna sir bhi tapata hai tumhare liye, Agni, tum uski raksha karo. Tum uska rakshak bano. Har bura insaan se, har dushman se, use bachao aur uski zindagi ko bada karo.
