तत्र चेन्दुमती नाम दैत्यकन्या अतिरूपिणी । सा दृष्टा तेन मुनिना विवस्त्रा मज्जती जले ॥

tatra cendumati nāma daitya-kanyā atirūpiṇī | sā dṛṣṭā tena muninā vivastrā majjatī jale ||

वहाँ चन्दुमती नाम की दैत्यकन्या, अत्यन्त रूपवती, थी; उसे उस मुनि ने जल में निर्वस्त्र स्नान करती हुई देखा।
