Sukta 2
इमं क्रव्यादा विवेशायं क्रव्यादमन्वगात्। व्याग्रौ कृत्वा नानानं तं हरामि शिवापरम्
imáṃ kravyā́dā viveśā́yaṃ kravyā́dam ánv agāt | vyāgráu kṛtvā́ nānānám táṃ harāmi śivāparám ||
This flesh-devourer hath entered in; this flesh-devourer have I followed. Assuming tiger-fury, I bear away that manifold one, unto the auspicious farther side.
यह क्रव्याद (मांस-भक्षक) भीतर प्रविष्ट हुआ है; इस क्रव्याद के पीछे मैं चला हूँ। व्याघ्र-क्रोध धारण करके, उस नाना-रूप वाले को मैं उठा ले जाता हूँ—शिव, परे वाले तट की ओर।
