dehāvatārānvakṣyāmi prāraṃbhātprathamānpriye | pañcamaḥ paṃcadaśyāṃ sa tretāyāṃ tu babhūva ha

હે પ્રિયે, હું આરંભથી જ પ્રાથમિક દેહાવતારોનું વર્ણન કરીશ. પંદરમા ક્રમમાં પાંચમો અવતાર થયો, અને તે ત્રેતાયુગમાં જ બન્યો.
