analaṃ narmadātīre sarvatra gamanādhikam | aṣṭaṣaṣṭiṃ tu devasya bhāskarasyāmitadyuteḥ

Translation

નર્મદાના કાંઠે ‘અનલ’ નામનું વ્રત/અનુષ્ઠાન છે, જે સર્વત્ર શ્રેષ્ઠ ગમન-સ્વાતંત્ર્ય આપનારું તરીકે પ્રસિદ્ધ છે. ત્યાં અમિત તેજવાળા ભાસ્કર દેવની અષ્ટષષ્ટિ-વિધ સ્તુતિ-પૂજા કરવી જોઈએ।
