युगेयुगे शोधयेत्तांस्तेन कंटकशोधिनी । आश्वयुक्छुक्लपक्षे तु नवम्यां तामथार्चयेत्

Transliteration

yugeyuge śodhayettāṃstena kaṃṭakaśodhinī | āśvayukchuklapakṣe tu navamyāṃ tāmathārcayet

Translation

યુગે યુગે તે એવા કંટકરૂપ ઉપદ્રવોને શુદ્ધ કરી દૂર કરે છે; તેથી તે ‘કંટકશોધિની’ કહેવાય છે. આશ્વયુજ માસના શુક્લપક્ષની નવમી તિથિએ તેની ભક્તિપૂર્વક આરાધના કરવી જોઈએ.
