mahiṣaghnīṃ mahākāyāṃ brahmadevarṣipūjitām | purā ye kalmaṣopetā dānavā devakaṃṭakāḥ
તે મહિષઘ્ની, મહાકાય અને બ્રહ્મા, દેવો તથા ઋષિઓ દ્વારા પૂજિત છે. પ્રાચીન કાળે પાપથી કલુષિત અને દેવોને કંટક સમા દાનવોને તેણે દમન કર્યા.
