Là se trouve un lac nommé Rullā, grand et de bon augure, tīrtha sur la Sarasvatī. Là, en personne, se tient Mahādeva, connu sous le nom d’Ānandeśvara.
Sūta (deduced from Prabhāsa-khaṇḍa māhātmya narration style)
Tirtha: Rulla-hrada
Type: kund
Scene: A serene lake (Rulla-hrada) connected to Sarasvatī; on its bank stands a radiant Śiva-liṅga or anthropomorphic Mahādeva labeled Ānandeśvara; pilgrims and sages offer water and bilva leaves; lotuses bloom.
Pilgrimage is fulfilled by darśana of a named Śiva-form; the tīrtha is sacred because the deity is present ‘in person’.
Rulla Hrada on the Sarasvatī and the Śiva site of Ānandeśvara.
Implicitly, darśana and tīrtha-approach; no explicit rite is stated in this verse.
