Type: kshetra
Scene: A ritual pavilion at Prabhāsa: Kapilā is adorned with garlands; beside her a decorated water-pot (kumbha) bears a solar emblem; a priest completes worship and formally presents the gifts to a serene Veda-knowing brāhmaṇa.
Worship culminates in dāna: devotion is completed by offering sacred objects to qualified recipients.
Prabhāsa Kṣetra, where this combined Kapilā and Sūrya rite is prescribed for great merit.
Worship Kapilā and Sūrya installed in a kumbha, then donate both to a Veda-learned Brāhmaṇa.
