Īśvara (Śiva)
Listener: Devī / Mahādevī (vocatives: saumye, mahādevi)
Scene: A sacred landscape in Prabhāsa: a serene tīrtha at the center, with a nearby shrine/abode of Nārāyaṇa indicated in the distance; the narrator addresses a goddess/Devi figure, emphasizing the tīrtha’s fame across the three worlds.
A tīrtha’s greatness is reflected in its universal renown and its placement within a divinely ordered sacred landscape.
A trailokya-famous tīrtha located within the Nyanku-matī river, near Nārāyaṇa’s abode, is being indicated (named in the next verse).
No explicit rite; the verse provides proximity guidance for pilgrims.
