Sūta (Lomaharṣaṇa) narrating; quoted speakers within verse: the Sūta and Māgadha; sages issue the commission
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Listener: Implied audience of the Purāṇa (and the sages within the scene)
Scene: The Sūta and Māgadha ask the twice-born sages what hymn should be composed to praise the radiant king; the sages appoint them, instructing that he be praised for future ages.
Dharma is preserved through sanctioned remembrance—praise becomes a vehicle for transmitting righteous ideals to posterity.
Prabhāsa-kṣetra provides the Māhātmya framework, though the verse emphasizes cultural transmission rather than a particular tīrtha-act.
No ritual; it prescribes the cultural duty of composing stotra/stuti for future remembrance.
