Ṛṣayaḥ (the sages)
Tirtha: Nimba-mūla-sthāna (within Sūrya-kṣetra, Devikā-taṭa)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Vālmīki
Scene: Sages gesture toward a grand nimba tree with many branches; the listener’s gaze follows, anticipating a hidden deity at the roots; riverbank and hermitage calm surround them.
Sacred places reveal themselves through attentive listening and visible signs in the landscape, such as venerable trees.
The Devikā-taṭa locality in Prabhāsa-kṣetra, indicated by the nimba tree as a sacred landmark.
An instruction in spiritual method: approach with ekāgratā (focused attention) and recognize the sthala’s signs before worship.
