Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 158

सर्वे विषादमापन्ना बांधवाश्च परे जनाः । अशोभनमिदं वाक्यं कन्यया यत्प्रभाषितम् । इत्युक्त्वा तु गताः सर्वे जननीजनबांधवाः

sarve viṣādamāpannā bāṃdhavāśca pare janāḥ | aśobhanamidaṃ vākyaṃ kanyayā yatprabhāṣitam | ityuktvā tu gatāḥ sarve jananījanabāṃdhavāḥ

Tous les proches et les autres gens furent saisis de tristesse, disant : «Ces paroles que la jeune fille a proférées ne sont pas convenables.» Après cela, tous—les gens de la mère et les parents—s’en allèrent.
