शंकर उवाच । परितुष्टोऽस्मि ते वत्स स्तोत्रेणानेन शीतगो । वरं वरय भद्रं ते भूयो यत्ते मनोगतम्
śaṃkara uvāca | parituṣṭo'smi te vatsa stotreṇānena śītago | varaṃ varaya bhadraṃ te bhūyo yatte manogatam
Śaṅkara dit : «Ô cher enfant, ô Śītago (la Lune fraîche), je suis pleinement satisfait de toi par cet hymne. Choisis une grâce—qu’elle te soit propice—tout ce que ton cœur désire encore.»
