ईश्वर उवाच । एवं स संस्तुते यावद्दिवारात्रौ निशाकरः । अब्रवीद्भगवान्प्रीतः प्रहसन्निव शंकरः
īśvara uvāca | evaṃ sa saṃstute yāvaddivārātrau niśākaraḥ | abravīdbhagavānprītaḥ prahasanniva śaṃkaraḥ
Le Seigneur dit : «Ainsi, tandis que la Lune le louait sans cesse jour et nuit, le bienheureux Śaṅkara—satisfait, comme souriant—prit la parole.»
