तेषां शिरसि निक्षिप्तो भूरिभारो द्विजोत्तम । अतोऽमी ब्राह्मणश्रेष्ठ पूत्का रयन्ति भैरवम्

teṣāṃ śirasi nikṣipto bhūribhāro dvijottama | ato'mī brāhmaṇaśreṣṭha pūtkā rayanti bhairavam

Ô meilleur des deux-fois-nés, un fardeau massif est placé sur leurs têtes ; c'est pourquoi, ô éminent brahmane, ils crient dans une angoisse terrifiante.
