Type: kshetra
Listener: Soma
Scene: A luminous Soma stands humbled before a deity-bestowing boon; the aura of lost radiance returns as a soft halo, while Dakṣa’s tapas is evoked by ascetic fire and prayerful posture in the background.
Grace and austerity together purify and restore: divine favor operates in harmony with dharmic effort and purification.
Prabhāsakṣetra, where Śiva’s prasāda is depicted as restoring cosmic luminosity (the Moon’s splendor).
Tapas is affirmed as a purifier (hatapāpmanaḥ), though no specific vow or rite is detailed in this verse.
