पिता भुंक्ते द्विज करे मुखे भुंक्ते पितामहः । प्रपितामहस्तालुस्थः कण्ठे मातामहः स्मृतः
pitā bhuṃkte dvija kare mukhe bhuṃkte pitāmahaḥ | prapitāmahastālusthaḥ kaṇṭhe mātāmahaḥ smṛtaḥ
Le père prend part depuis la main du brāhmane ; le grand-père prend part depuis sa bouche. L’arrière-grand-père est dit demeurer au palais, et le grand-père maternel est rappelé comme demeurant dans la gorge.
