Sūta (Lomaharṣaṇa) speaking in the Prabhāsa-kṣetra narrative context
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Scene: Two brothers: the younger in wedding attire near a newly kindled household fire (Agnihotra), the elder standing aside with downcast gaze; elders and family observe, indicating social tension around order of saṃskāras.
Dharma upholds social and familial order; even life-stage transitions like marriage and fire-rites have prescribed propriety.
Prabhāsa-kṣetra, where dharma for householders is articulated alongside sacred-place glorification.
It names the younger brother marrying/undertaking Agnihotra before the elder as parivettā, and the elder as parivitti.
