brāhmaṇa uvāca | yadi tuṣṭo'si me deva yadi deyo varo mama | ihāgatya naraḥ snātvā yo jalenāpi siñcati
Tirtha: Prabhāsakṣetra (context of Nāgasthāna-liṅga)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Śiva (deva/Śaṅkara)
Scene: A humble brāhmaṇa, hands folded, petitions Śiva for a boon beside a liṅga near sacred waters; a pilgrim approaches with a small water-pot, symbolizing minimal yet potent worship.
A devotee seeks to universalize grace: that even the simplest act of worship at the holy place be fruitful.
Prabhāsakṣetra, indicated by “having come here” (ihāgatya) in the Prabhāsa māhātmya context.
Come to the kṣetra, bathe (snāna), and perform even a simple water sprinkling/ablution (jala-siñcana) to the Liṅga.
