ज्योत्स्नाभिर्भगवान्सोमो जगतो हितकाम्यया । ततस्तस्मै ददौ राज्यं ब्रह्मा ब्रह्मविदां वरः

Transliteration

jyotsnābhirbhagavānsomo jagato hitakāmyayā | tatastasmai dadau rājyaṃ brahmā brahmavidāṃ varaḥ

Translation

Le Seigneur bienheureux Soma, par ses rayons de lune et dans le désir de faire le bien du monde, œuvra pour la prospérité de la création. C’est pourquoi Brahmā—le meilleur des connaisseurs du Brahman—lui accorda la souveraineté.
