Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 30

एतदेव यदा पद्ममभूद्धैरण्मयं जगत् । तद्वृत्तांताश्रयांतं तत्पाद्ममित्युच्यते बुधैः

Transliteration

etadeva yadā padmamabhūddhairaṇmayaṃ jagat | tadvṛttāṃtāśrayāṃtaṃ tatpādmamityucyate budhaiḥ

Translation

Ce récit même se rapporte au temps où le lotus surgit et où l’univers devint d’or ; parce qu’il repose sur cette histoire, les sages l’appellent le Purāṇa Pādmā (Padma).
