संहरस्व सुरश्रेष्ठ तेजः स्वदहनात्मकम् त्रै । लोक्यं व्याकुलीभूतमेवं सर्वं चराचरम् । न यावत्प्रलयं याति तावद्रक्ष सुरेश्वर
saṃharasva suraśreṣṭha tejaḥ svadahanātmakam trai | lokyaṃ vyākulībhūtamevaṃ sarvaṃ carācaram | na yāvatpralayaṃ yāti tāvadrakṣa sureśvara
«Rappelle, ô le meilleur des dieux, cette ardeur flamboyante qui est tienne, feu qui se consume lui-même. Les trois mondes—tout le mobile et l’immobile—sont en détresse. Protège-nous, ô Seigneur des dieux, avant qu’elle ne se rue vers la dissolution cosmique.»
