एवं ते निश्चयं कृत्वा परस्मिंस्तपसि स्थिताः । वर्षास्वाकाशगा भूत्वा हेमंते सलिलाश्रयाः
evaṃ te niścayaṃ kṛtvā parasmiṃstapasi sthitāḥ | varṣāsvākāśagā bhūtvā hemaṃte salilāśrayāḥ
Ainsi, ayant arrêté leur résolution, ils demeurèrent dans une austérité ardente : durant la saison des pluies, ils restaient sous le ciel ouvert ; et en hiver, ils prenaient refuge dans l’eau.
