Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 35

पश्चात्तीर्थेन मंत्रास्तु संहृत्य हृदये न्यसेत् । मंत्रैरात्मानमेकत्र कृत्वा चार्घं प्रदापयेत्

paścāttīrthena maṃtrāstu saṃhṛtya hṛdaye nyaset | maṃtrairātmānamekatra kṛtvā cārghaṃ pradāpayet

Ensuite, avec l’eau de tīrtha, on doit recueillir de nouveau les mantras et les déposer dans le cœur. S’étant ainsi unifié par les mantras, on présentera alors l’offrande d’arghya.
